Parcel delivery driver

As a parcel delivery driver, you play an important role in ensuring parcels are delivered safely and on time to both business and private customers. You start each day at the depot in Nieuw-Vennep, where you prepare your route and get ready for a productive day on the road.

Your activities as a parcel delivery driver consist of:

• Delivering parcels to 50 to 80 business and private addresses per day
• Loading the delivery van independently and organizing parcels efficiently
• Planning and driving delivery routes with support from a route app
• Collecting parcels from customers and businesses during the route
• Keeping the delivery van clean, safe, and well organized

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you combine independent work with customer contact and practical logistics responsibilities. Accuracy, reliability, and a service-oriented approach are key to success in this role.

You will work four days per week with no weekend shifts. Working hours are between 08:00 and 19:00, offering structure and consistency throughout the week.

• A gross hourly salary between €16.60 and €21.58, based on your experience.
• A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position at DHL Express.
• A flexible workweek of 24 to 40 hours, with shifts between 08:00 and 19:00.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometer (starting from 5 km one-way).
• 8% holiday allowance, 6.24% individual choice budget (IKB), and 23 vacation days based on a 40-hour workweek.

• Valid driver’s license B with 2+ years’ experience.
• Ability to obtain a certificate of conduct (VOG).
• Reside near Nieuw-Vennep, close to Hoofddorp.
• Comfortable delivering 50–80 parcels daily with precision.
• Available 3–4 days weekly, between 08:00–19:00.
