As a Logistics Operator DHL Freight, you work at a modern logistics terminal in Houten where you are responsible for the smooth handling of the daily flow of goods. You combine physical tasks with logistical responsibilities and ensure that shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You maintain overview during busy moments, work in a structured way and actively contribute to meeting daily targets. As a Logistics Operator DHL Freight, you play a key role within the team and ensure that all processes meet the required quality standards.
Your activities consist of:

• Loading and unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner
• Transporting goods within the warehouse using a forklift
• Scanning and verifying shipments for correctness and quality
• Preparing and organizing goods for outbound transport
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth operation

You work in a 3-shift rotation, requiring flexibility. Shifts are divided into morning, afternoon and night shifts.

• An hourly salary starting from €15.61, with additional allowances for evening, night, and Saturday shifts.
• A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position at DHL Freight.
• A stable full-time role of 40 hours per week, offering regularity and security.
• Work in a modern, well-equipped terminal in Houten, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
• Reimbursement for commuting costs, with a set maximum per kilometer.
• Quick feedback on your application within 24 hours on working days, ensuring a smooth recruitment process.

• Minimum MBO 2 education level, logistics-related preferred.
• Valid forklift license with 2+ years of experience.
• Reside near Houten, e.g., Nieuwegein or Utrecht.
• Physically fit for demanding warehouse tasks.
• Available for rotating 3-shift schedules until September.
