Forklift operator

As a Forklift Operator DHL Freight, you ensure that goods move safely and efficiently through the terminal in Houten. You work accurately in a fast-paced logistics environment and help keep every shipment on schedule.
Your activities consist of:

• Loading and unloading trucks safely and on time
• Moving goods through the warehouse using a forklift and other equipment
• Scanning and checking shipments for accuracy and quality
• Organizing and securing goods for safe transportation
• Working with colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow

As a Forklift Operator DHL Freight, you work in a rotating three-shift system. The morning shift runs from 07:00 to 15:30, the afternoon shift from 16:00 to 00:30 and the night shift from 23:00 to 07:30.
You receive a temporary contract with a prospect for the future. As a Forklift Operator DHL Freight, you can count on a structured workplace where safety, teamwork and professional development are important.

• An hourly wage starting from €15.61, with additional allowances for evening, night, and Saturday shifts.
• A temporary contract with the prospect of a permanent position at DHL Freight.
• A full-time role of 40 hours per week in a structured 3-shift system.
• Reimbursement for commuting costs, with a set maximum per kilometer.

• Valid forklift license with 2+ years of experience.
• Physically fit for lifting and warehouse tasks.

• Available until September, except for one vacation week.
